ABOUT ELITEPATH TAX SOLUTIONS
ElitePath Tax Solutions is a growing tax resolution firm focused on helping individuals and businesses resolve federal and state tax matters. We assist clients with tax debt, unfiled returns, payment arrangements, collections issues, penalty relief, and other tax resolution matters.
We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) or qualified tax professional who can confidently evaluate client tax situations, develop resolution strategies, communicate with taxing authorities, and help manage cases from initial analysis through resolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review client tax records, transcripts, notices, financial information, and prior filings
• Analyze cases and determine appropriate tax resolution strategies
• Represent clients before the IRS when properly authorized
• Prepare and manage installment agreement, Offer in Compromise, Currently Not Collectible, penalty abatement, and other resolution matters
• Assist clients with unfiled or delinquent tax returns
• Prepare or review individual and business tax returns as needed
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, required documents, deadlines, and next steps
• Contact taxing authorities and respond to notices and collection matters
• Maintain detailed and accurate case notes and documentation
• Work closely with ElitePath’s case management and client service team
• Identify compliance issues that must be corrected before or during resolution
• Ensure work is completed accurately, professionally, and in accordance with applicable tax rules and professional standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Active Enrolled Agent credential OR other appropriate tax professional credential/qualification
• Strong understanding of individual and business taxation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
• Ability to independently manage multiple client matters and deadlines
Preferred:
• Previous tax resolution experience
• Experience representing taxpayers before the IRS
• Experience with Offers in Compromise, installment agreements, CNC status, penalty abatement, liens, levies, and collection matters
• Experience reviewing IRS account and wage & income transcripts
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
• Familiarity with tax resolution or practice-management software
• Experience working in a tax resolution, accounting, CPA, EA, or tax law firm

We want someone who understands that tax resolution is more than preparing forms. The right candidate can look at a client’s entire situation, identify the problem, determine realistic resolution options, explain those options clearly, and help move the case toward the best available outcome.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of your cases while working collaboratively with the rest of the ElitePath team.
