Job Description Position responsible for assisting providers and the nursing team in the delivery of professional medical care. Specific duties include pre‑visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, using the EMR system, scanning and downloading documents, administering injections, vaccine coordination, telephone screening with protocols, phlebotomy, assisting with procedures (as needed), and duties as assigned based on clinic needs. The incumbent must exhibit excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times. May be required to cover front‑office duties as needed. Responsibilities Perform medical assistant (MA) duties 90% of the time and phlebotomy duties 10% of the time. Float to other clinics within Kansas City when needed. Work 12‑hour shifts during the week and 9‑hour shifts on weekends. Clinic hours: Monday‑Friday 6:45‑7:15 PM; Saturday‑Sunday 7:45‑5:15 PM. Qualifications Experience: less than 1 year. Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross certification. Certified Medical Assistant (MA). Job Details Employment type: PRN, day shift.
