Room AttendantThe Galt House Hotel is currently hiring for the position of Room Attendant. The Room Attendant is to maintain clean and attractive guest rooms, including replacing all linen and towels in the room, vacuuming and dusting, replacing guest supplies, and thorough bathroom cleaning. You must be very responsive to guest requests and be able to communicate effectively with guests.Requirements:Replacing linens on beds, emptying wastebaskets, replenishing guest room suppliesReturning items left by guests to the Housekeeping departmentFulfilling guest's requests promptlyAssisting with special projects or requests given by Housekeeping ManagementAnticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of dayMaintain positive guest relations at all timesBe familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyUse correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirementsOther duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:High school graduatePrevious housekeeping / hotel experience preferred.Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.Work with minimal supervision.Stand and walk for extended periods of time.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
